Job Description:

*Accounting    

‐ Assist in bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance for various investment and family entities    

‐ Collaboration with tax professionals in preparation of tax filings for partnerships, individuals and trusts    

‐ Preparation of all accounts payable and maintenance of related documentation    

‐ Assist in the preparation of budgets and cash forecasting

*Reporting    

‐ Preparation of periodic performance reports and financials statements    

‐ Assist in preparation of reports and materials for Quarterly and Annual Meetings    

‐ Assist in preparation of top‐line accounting and tax reports for the CEO and the Portfolio Manager    

‐ Ad‐hoc analyses and projects for the CEO or Portfolio Manager

*Operations    

‐ Assist with trade booking and reconciliation    

‐ Prepare capital calls and distributions as necessary    ‐ Participate in implementation and improvement of internal financial controls    

‐ Maintain capital projects records    

‐ Identify areas for process improvements and automation    

‐ Assist in administration of investment documents; review of subscription documents and agreements, maintenance of capital account balance, analysis of gates, fees and contribution requirements

Requirements / Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred

* 2‐3 years of experience in public/private accounting (hedge fund exposure a plus)

* Ability to read legal agreements and contracts (e.g. hedge fund partnership agreements)

* Proven ability to handle  proprietary information with discretion

* Highly professional demeanor, strong work ethic, team player with a well‐organized with ability to prioritize

* Flexible and proactive with strong communication skills

* Experience with investment related tax issues a plus

* Strong Excel, Word and Outlook; knowledge of QuickBooks preferred
