Job Description:


o    Legal entity accounting for multiple affiliates including preparation of journal entries for cash receipt of refunds, direct debits, and expense re-classes

o    Direct oversight for Accounts Payable accounting for subsidiary client including but not limited to: invoice review and data entry, general ledger account coding, vendor record creation and maintenance, filing and organization of vendor network files.

o    Review monthly credit card activity and prepare reporting/analysis

o    Preparation of monthly reconciliations with heavy cash focus including bank reconciliations and tracking of outstanding checks

o    Balance Sheet account ownership with responsibility for monthly attestation process

o    Assist in gathering and reviewing tax related information (W-9’s) for annual form 1099 filings

o    Assist with preparation of year-end reporting and audit deliverables

o    Assist with update and maintenance of controls documentation for key areas and participate in self-testing of key control processes

·Client Service

o    Client facing role adhering to strict confidentiality and decorum; reliable point of contact to establish a strong client service relationship

o    Correspondence with vendors regarding payment status, credits, and account reconciliation

o    Review and respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal/external business contacts timely and accurately

o    Research and resolve issues through internal and external communications; maintain log of outstanding issues, and follow up as required

o    Assist with ad hoc client projects, reporting, and analysis

Requirements / Qualifications:

·3-5 years of experience with oversight of Accounts Payable required

·Bachelor’s Degree required, Accounting concentration is a plus

·Proven ability to multi task, prioritize duties and complete tasks in an accurate/efficient manner

·Exceptional written and oral communication skills; customer service acumen required

·Experience working with a high profile client; service first attitude – personality is key

·Must have attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills

·Self-starter seeking opportunity for development and additional role responsibility over time

·Desire to work in a collaborative team setting

·Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

·Experience in SAP is a plus
