The client is seeking to hire a Fund Accountant that will perform the following duties:

•Reviewing and releasing monthly NAV to investors;
•Involvement in annual tax and audit processes;
•Preparing audited financial statements (including consolidations);
•Income tax and K-1 review and related projects;
•Compliance reporting including Form PF, CPO-PQR, Form S, Form SLT;
•Interacting with our full service fund administrators, custodians and third party service providers;
•Management reporting;
•Work closely with the operations and technology groups to research and resolve issues
•Collaborating with the investor relations and compliance groups to provide reporting to clients subject to ERISA rules and regulations;
•Implement policies, procedures and internal controls;
•Ad hoc reporting and administrative duties.

Requirements / Qualifications:

An extremely strong academic record, including a bachelor degree in accounting.

4-7 years of public and or private experience in hedge funds or long only funds and separately managed accounts (SMAs).

Strong spreadsheet and word processing skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.

The CPA credential is required.

Financial product knowledge is preferred.
